28/06/10 Rory Dominates in Warrnambool & Horsham Speedways.
Author: From the Ouside Looking In.

The wingless sprintcars were a supporting class at the Easter Trail at Warrnambool Speedway and we won the Sunday night feature and there was a stellar field of 23 cars and a top very racey track was provided on the night which led to some great wheel to wheel racing.
Rory won the first heat, ran third in his second heat & started of pole in the feature and showed them the way home.

Over the June long weekend Rory & the team ventured down to Horsham Victoria for a two night meeting and once again Rory showed his class with some excellent results. Although a large number of cars of Wingless Sprintcar didnt nominate it still was made up of top quality Victorian & South Australian cars. And there were some spectacular accidents and a casualty of one of the accidents, Fred Walsh has a broken wrist and we will side line him for a short period and we wish him a speedy recovery.
Rory had heat results of a 3rd & 4th place finishes along with three heat wins. For the final they inverted the top six and as Rory was top in the points he started out of position 12 and passed the entire field and stormed home for another decisive win in the s51.

Currently Tyson is in the United States and Rory told him I want something to go in his container mid to late June and it could be a even be a new frame as we are considering an upgrade with our trusty 2005 Cheeta we have been campaigning so far.
Rory is heading to Darwin to race in the N.T. Wingless Sprintcar Title on September 18th to compete in a Mates car.  Bayden Knight is the car's owner and it is a brand new car and unraced so hope we can get it sorted out very quickly and be competitive.
The team at Hoolagators are confident that Rory will give the N.T. Title a fair old shake as we consider Rory to be one of the shining lights in Australian Speedway and we can't wait to see Rory in action in a fire breathing winged sprintcar as we know that the has talent to burn.

09/01/10 Rory Comes Home 4th in South Australian Title

First of all we would like to congratulate Todd Wigzell as he took out the South Australian Wingless Sprintcar Title.
A report from Rory on his night of speedway racing
.
I dropped a heat race after spinning out while in 2nd position as Rory said he was trying to push too hard to catch up with the car in 1st.
Came home in first in another heat race and started out of position 10 in the other heat race and came home in 3rd.
This meant that Rory started
out
of 15 in the Feature
Race and came home in a strong 4th position. According to Rory the car felt good and we can expect a strong showing at the Australian Tile to be held in March.
Rory in action at Murray Bridge Speedway 27/12/09

Hamilton Speedway Results 30/12/09
A small field of 12 cars were in the pits for the Wingless Sprintcars.
In the first heat Rory started rear of field and came home in a stellar drive and won the heat race.
The second heat was the same as Rory this time started from Pole as he went to a flag to flag victory and was never headed.
In the Third heat started out of position six and finished 3rd.
The track for the Final could only be described as slick track and Rory won it as only 8 cars finished the final after some accidents and mechanical issues took out some the other competitors.
From Rory & the Team,
A Happy New Year to all our Friends & Supporters.
