Rory time trailed at Borderline amongst the 410's and did an 11.4 which he was pretty happy with when you consider he was running a 360 motor.
The s57 was way too hooked for Rory all night and as he is learning a new craft that is to be expected as other more seasoned drivers also had their fair share of difficulties trying to tame the track. In the C main Rory started out of 14th and came home a creditable 4th position which transferred him to the back of the B Main where he came home in 9th position.
I am sure that we will see some more great results from Rory come next summer season of speedway racing.

Rory Button what a great result Mate.
Your first full event in a 360 sprintcar - SRA 360 Sprintcars - 360 CHALLENGE at Horshams Blue Ribbon race way.
Rory started at the back of the field as it was the first night in anger in a 360 sprintcar and did move forward in each heat race contested.
In the A Main he stared out of position 5 and greeted the chequered flag in first position. I am sure that if there is any one of you out there who owns a business down in the South East or in Victoria. Rory would like to hear from you as you will get value for money from sponsoring this team and driver.
You will also see Rory in action on Saturday night on night two of the Easter Trail at Borderline Speedway as he wants gain some more seat time before the end of the season even though it is against the big 410 sprintcars.

The race was eventful as Darryl Sloan inverted his wingless during this heat race.
Heat 2 - Started out of Position 6 and came home in 2nd spot.
The race was eventful as Sam Wren rolled his wingless end over end several times which bought out a solid red.
The amazing thing is that Sam then restarted and finished the race.
Heat 3 - Rory started out of pole position as wasover taken late in the race by Scott Bogucki.
A Main - Started out of position 3 in the 25 lap race. Rory had current SA1 Todd Wigzell on his tail tank most of the race. Looking for Rory to make a small error to get past as the race progressed Todd's car seemed to Fade to finish in 4th and Rory was then unchallenged as he bought the s51 home in a strong third position.
Rory said the car just didn't have the speed as the other two place getters but was constant with it's handling. And with the V6 Holden motors you need to be on the gas all the time to keep the car competitive.
Congratulations to both Scott Bogucki & Joel Chadwick on their nights racing finishing first & second positions in the SA title.

Congratulations Rory Button from Hoolagators as we proudly support Rory as we believe that Rory is the top Wingless Sprintcar driver in Australia.

Rory won the first heat, ran third in his second heat & started of pole in the feature and showed them the way home.
Rory had heat results of a 3rd & 4th place finishes along with three heat wins. For the final they inverted the top six and as Rory was top in the points he started out of position 12 and passed the entire field and stormed home for another decisive win in the s51.
Currently Tyson is in the United States and Rory told him I want something to go in his container mid to late June and it could be a even be a new frame as we are considering an upgrade with our trusty 2005 Cheeta we have been campaigning so far.
The team at Hoolagators are confident that Rory will give the N.T. Title a fair old shake as we consider Rory to be one of the shining lights in Australian Speedway and we can't wait to see Rory in action in a fire breathing winged sprintcar as we know that the has talent to burn.

First of all we would like to congratulate Todd Wigzell as he took out the South Australian Wingless Sprintcar Title.
A report from Rory on his night of speedway racing.
I dropped a heat race after spinning out while in 2nd position as Rory said he was trying to push too hard to catch up with the car in 1st.
Came home in first in another heat race and started out of position 10 in the other heat race and came home in 3rd.
This meant that Rory started out of 15 in the Feature Race and came home in a strong 4th position. According to Rory the car felt good and we can expect a strong showing at the Australian Tile to be held in March.

From Rory & the Team,
A Happy New Year to all our Friends & Supporters.
