Team Highrace score first top 5 of the season
Result rundown:

A main: Started 11th, finished 5th
Josh Ruhs and team Highrace contested round 3 of the speedway city track championship last Saturday (20/11/2010) and despite a pair of average qualifying heats managed to climb up to 5th from an 11th starting position. The team are happy with the result, but are still working on making some changes to hopefully see some improvements in the coming weeks.
The team are now in 10th place in the track championship after missing the second round due to work commitments, which means some slight changes may be made to the calender in the coming weeks.

Josh Ruhs Opens 2010 season with solid finish
 
Result rundown:
Heat 1: Started 1st, finished 3rd
Heat 2: Started 10th, finished 9th
A main: Started 8th, finished 6th
Opening night at Speedway City, Adelaide SA for the Highrace 24 Hour Towing Team was a night that showed promise of a solid season for the team. Though a few minor slip ups occurred early in the night the team managed to record 6th place in the feature event, locking them into 6th place in the Speedway City 410ci track championship points.

Josh Ruhs Dominates Sprintcar Cup

Josh Ruhs and the Highrace 24 Hour Towing team attended their final meeting for the 2009-2010 race season. The 360ci Sprintcar Cup which was held at Josh's home track, Broken Hill's Silver City Speedway.  As you can see by the results from the night's racing the team dominated the evening:

The team is now concentrating on preparation for 2010-2011 season. As car crew chief Isaac Ruhs has left Australia and headed of the USA to work in Chico CA for Rod Fauver's Race Ready Rental's sprintcar team.

Josh Ruhs Takes 2nd in S.A. 360 Sprintcar Title.

First I would like to congratulate the winner of the 2010 South Australian 360 sprintcar Title - Ryan Jones who has made it three in a row at three different tracks. And to the long time campaigner in a sprintcar Karl Endel who put in a sold nights racing to finish third in the title.
Now to Josh Ruhs who had one of the fastest cars in the warm ups which was going to be a good indicator of his nights racing.
There is a new confidence in the team which is very evident by the form that Josh is starting to show every week he comes out to race on the clay ways around the Southern states. This I reckon is due to the influence of new crew chief and team mentor Darren Baker who has bought to the team his USA experience and the time he has spent with Luke Dillon to the HIGHRACE Racing Team.
You can see before a meeting starts Josh, Darren and Isaac walking the track and talking about lines to drive and get a feel for what and how the track might change during the nights racing.
The nights racing was good for Josh as in his first heat he started out of the front row and was never headed as he powered away from the field for a very solid win on a track that seemed to very moist below the surface and began to show small ruts which made the cars nervous to drive at times coming out of the corners.
In his second heat Josh started near the back row and came home in creditable fourth as the track conditions made it very difficult to pass as there wasn�t much drive out wide.
Then it came to the A Main and Josh had earned enough points the right to start of the front row and lead for 5 laps and then was caught by the eventual Sate Title Winner Ryan Jones who was never headed and put a fair gap in the field. But to Josh�s credit he held his composure on a very trying track and came home in a strong second position. Although he didn�t win the 360 title, I am sure that Josh and the team would be very satisfied with the result as Josh keeps the car straight and will be one to watch out for the rest of this season.
