After the C5.R GTS, to C6.R GT1, the C6.R GTE and the C7.R GTE, the C8.R continues the tradition of the Corvettes for endurance racing.
With a technical philosophy of total breakdown, the V8 naturally aspirated engine is still there, but it is mounted centrally and has some mechanical updates.
The C8.R debuted at the 2020 Daytona 24 Hours.
